Theoretical Courses

It's coursetime at Fahrschule SeeStadt:) The theoretical courses are part of all our educations for the driver's license (except C111 and Aufstieg) and are always offered as Intensivkurse (max. 2 weeks). The courses consists of modules which lasts for 100 minutes at a time and are taught two modules at a time, except for motorcycle. There are modules for Grundwissen (GW1-10) which is basic knowledge, Spezialwissen für Motorrad (A1-3) which is required for motorcycle und Spezialwissen für PKW (B1-6) which is required for car. The modules needed for your education is listed below.

In order to be cleared for the theoretical test, you need to complete all modules. Note that we only offer the English edition of the course a couple of time s a year at the moment, so should you not be able to attend a module, you will need to wait for the next course or attend the next possible module in german. Class B, L, L17 and B with additional practice drives

The theoretical course for car is a part of the education for class B (only in german at the moment). It consists of 16 modules, of which 10 modules are Grundwissen (GW1-10) and 6 modules are Spezialwissen (B1-6). The complete course is completed in 8 days and normally spread over two weeks.

Class A1, A2 and A (if you already have a license for car)

​

For the classes A1, A2 and A, if you already have a license for car, you need to visit the theoretical course for motorcycle. The theoretical course for motorcycle is a part of the edcuation for class A and is offered on request. The complete course consists of three modules Spezialwissen (A1-3) and is completed in one day.

Class A1, A2 und A (if you don't already have a license for car)

For the classes A1, A2 and A, if you do not already have a license for car, you will need to complete the theoretical course for A and GW 1-10. The theoretical courses for this motorcycle education are part of the education for class A (only in german at the moment). The complete A-course consists of three modules Spezialwissen (A1-3) and is completed in one day. The complete GW-course consists of 10 modules and is spread over 5 days.

Class AB (alle variations)

The theoretical course for car and motorcycle are part of both the education for class A (only in german at the moment) and the education for class B (also only in german at the moment) and consists of 19 modules, of which 10 modules Grundwissen (GW1-10), 6 modules Spezialwissen für PKW (B1-6) and 3 modules Spezialwissen für Motorrad (A1-3). The GW-course is spread over 5 days, the B-course is spread over 3 days and the A-course is completed in one day.

Class AM (Moped)

​

The necessary modules for the moped license are a part of the education for class AM (only in german at the moment) and included in the theoretical course for basic knowledge. The theoretical course consists of 3 modules Grundwissen (GW2, 3 und 5), and is spread over 3 days.
