Mehrphasenausbildung
Are you ready for the multi-phase training (Mehrphasenausbildung)...? Great :) After you have passed the practical test for car (B, L, L17) and/or motorcycle (A, A2, A1), you must complete a second, mandatory training phase — the Mehrphasenausbildung — during your probationary period. The Mehrphasenausbildung consists of three parts for the B and L educations, or two parts for the L17 and A educations, and must be completed within 12 (B, L, and L17) or 14 (A, A1, and A2) months after you received your driving license.
The Mehrphasenausbildung does not include any tests, but it is legally required and must be completed on time and in the correct order. If the Mehrphasenausbildung is not completed on time, you will receive a four-month grace period. Should you fail to complete the Mehrphasenausbildung within these four months, you will get another four-month extension, the probationary period will be extended by one year, and the driving license must be re-issued. At the latest now, the Mehrphasenausbildung should have been completed. If not, your driving authorization (Lenkberechtigung) will be withdrawn until the Mehrphasenausbildung has been completed.
You can complete the Merhphasenausbildung with us in the driving school and in the traffic safety center of our partner, ARBÖ. We will send you reminders via email as soon as the different phases of the Mehrphasenausbildung training are due, so that you can complete all parts of the Mehrphasenausbildung on time and as legally required. After 2–4 months, a driving lesson (1st Mph) at the driving school (B/L)

After 6–12 months, a driving lesson (2nd Mph) at the driving school (B/L/L17)
The order must be adhered to. There must be a minimum of three months between the driving lessons at the driving school (1st Mph and 2nd Mph), and the traffic safety training must be completed during this time.

After 4–14 months, a driving lesson (Mph A) at the driving school
The order must be adhered to. There must be a minimum of two months between the traffic safety training and the Mph A driving lesson at the driving school.
PS! Don't forget to add "Fahrschule SeeStadt" in the "Anmerkung" field when you register for the driving safety course with ARBÖ.
